Thoseghar
Thoseghar, a very famous spot for beautiful and high waterfalls is nature’s extravaganza in its true meaning. In the Sahyadri ghat of Maharashtra, this small place (village) is an ideal picnic spot, which has some luscious waterfalls, along with dark woods, some green hills around, and a beautiful lake.
The calmness here sounds like music to the ears with the beats being provided by the gushes of water in the waterfalls. The hanging green creepers, the dense mass of vegetation around the waterfall and the rocky cliffs overhanging and covering the waterfalls speak more and more of the wonders that nature has created (Thoseghar surely being one!).

It is home to two wonderful waterfalls of the Tarali River (one 500-metre high and the other 1000 meter high), which attract a lot of picnickers and nature lovers to this place. Chalkewadi plateau, near Thoseghar village is famous for windmills.
